Dr. Amanda Swaim grew up in the small town of Albany and is now a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organismal and Integrative Biology in 2008. She attended Louisiana State University and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She is a current member of Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She and her husband Vic have been married since 2013. They have three Boxers. Zeus, Zoey, and Nyla are like their children. She is an active member at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany. She is a Liturgical Minister there and a member of Catholic Daughters of America. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and watching sports.
She is excited about finally being finished with school and putting to work her knowledge and skills at Companion Animal Hospital.
